Nigeria is facing one of the world's largest hunger emergencies, with 35 million people expected to face acute food insecurity during the 2026 lean season. In northern Nigeria, families are skipping meals, children are suffering severe malnutrition, and vulnerable households are losing livelihoods due to conflict, inflation, and displacement. EFI will provide emergency food relief, nutrition support, hygiene kits, and livelihood assistance to vulnerable women, children, and displaced families.
