Hey everyone! Xan is a 4 year old tuxedo cat, we’ve had him his entire life and up until now he’s never had any health issues. Mid July he wasn’t peeing and we noticed him crying when he tried to urinate and he tried peeing on the floor which he had never done before. It was 3am and we had to rush him to the emergency vet hospital. Once there they drained his bladder and told us if we hadn’t caught it and waited any longer he would’ve died. He had to be admitted and was there for 3 days with a catheter in him for 36hrs to pass a blockage that had built up. He will need to be on a medicated die
