On April 17, 2026, 30 year old Sy Moran had a devastating accident. Sy suffered a seizure while riding a ski resort chairlift with athletes he was coaching. The seizure caused him to fall roughly 40 feet from the chairlift onto firm, icy snow. He was rushed to the local hospital, and then immediately transported to the Trauma ICU in Reno, NV, where he underwent emergency spinal surgery, lasting 8+ hours, to stabilize extensive damage to his spine.
